5.8/10Critic Score

Lucha Ribeiro's sequel thrives on a formula that proved commercially irresistible—escalating relationship chaos wrapped in comedic banter—but the execution reveals significant cracks beneath the box office gloss. The three-couple dynamic allows for broader character exploration than its predecessor, and Kartik Aaryan, Sunny Singh, and Omkar Kapoor demonstrate genuine chemistry that carries several sequences. However, the screenplay oscillates awkwardly between sharp observational humor about modern dating anxieties and lazy stereotyping of female characters; Chiku, Supriya, and Kusum often feel more like narrative obstacles than fully realized personalities. The film's 140-minute runtime becomes increasingly burdensome in the second half, where character arcs plateau and repetitive conflict resolution sequences dilute comedic momentum.

What distinguishes the film from typical rom-com drivel is its willingness to interrogate relationship dynamics with occasional specificity—Supriya's family pressure resonates authentically, and Kusum's financial hypocrisy introduces welcome moral friction. Yet Ribeiro's direction rarely pushes beyond surface-level conflict mining; scenes that could deepen emotional stakes instead retreat into punchline delivery. The climactic reconciliation sequences feel obligatory rather than earned, suggesting the writer-director values narrative convenience over character growth. Comparatively, while this outperforms Ribeiro's average output significantly

Storyline

So basically, there are three best friends living together as bachelors who each end up falling for different girls. Gogo meets this awesome girl named Chiku, Sid starts dating Supriya, and Tarun gets involved with Kusum. Sounds perfect, right? Well, here's the thing—these three girlfriends absolutely cannot stand each other, and that's where all the drama begins.

Each relationship has its own set of messy issues that keep getting more complicated. Chiku's got this guy friend she's way too close to, which makes Gogo super uncomfortable. Supriya's too scared to introduce Sid to her family and basically pretends he doesn't exist, which hurts him badly. And Kusum? She claims she's all about splitting bills fairly but then secretly uses Tarun's money whenever she feels like it, which is totally hypocritical and frustrating for him.

Eventually, the girls decide they want to actually help fix things instead of just making them worse. They start making some real changes—like Chiku dealing with her friendship situation, Supriya trying to stand up to her family about her feelings, and Kusum being more honest about what she really wants. But honestly, even with everyone trying to work things out, there's still a ton of conflict brewing beneath the surface that just won't go away easily.
