Review
What we have here is a film that mistakes melodrama for emotional depth and confuses rushed romance with compelling storytelling. "Lucknowi Ishq" hinges on a premise so thin it's transparent—a medical student marries a woman in ten days, then falls apart, leaving her to hunt him down. The problem? The film never establishes why we should care about either character or their union. The performances feel manufactured; there's no chemistry between Prem and Sunaina, just two actors going through the motions of a romance that was never earned. The direction is pedestrian at best, hitting every expected beat without a shred of originality or insight into what might make a love story actually resonate.
The supporting cast, particularly the professor character, feels like a Band-Aid attempt to inject levity into what is fundamentally a poorly constructed narrative. Instead of exploring the psychological complexity suggested by Prem's breakdown or Sunaina's determination, the film opts for surface-level drama and forced comedy. The family drama subplot promises consequence but delivers nothing of substance. What could have been a character study about impulsive decisions and their fallout becomes just another formulaic Hindi film spinning its wheels, hoping charm will substitute for substance.

Storyline
So basically, this guy Prem who's studying medicine in Lucknow spots this gorgeous woman Sunaina at a wedding and is immediately head over heels for her. He's so determined to make her his that he even gets into it with her overprotective brother, and somehow he manages to convince her to marry him within just ten days. Pretty wild, right?
After the wedding, Prem starts falling apart because he's dealing with some serious stuff, and his professor notices he's not performing well academically. The professor is actually really supportive though—he believes Prem is super talented and pushes him to get back on track with his studies so he can ace his medical exams.
Meanwhile, Sunaina's whole family is devastated by what happened, and she becomes determined to track down Prem and make him answer for everything. She makes a promise to herself that she won't go home until she finds him and sets things right. To lighten things up, there's this professor character who kind of becomes a funny matchmaker figure in the story, which keeps the movie from getting too heavy.
