Abbas Tyrewala's "Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon" is a film that understands its assignment—it's a high-concept farce built on the premise of a man juggling three simultaneous marriages, and for stretches, it delivers exactly the kind of escalating chaos that the setup promises. The film's box office performance (₹71.6 crores on a modest budget, yielding a 347% ROI) suggests audiences connected with its comedic timing and star power, though the numbers also reveal that this is fundamentally a star-driven vehicle rather than a script-driven narrative. Kapoor executes the physical comedy with competence, and the supporting cast—particularly in the apartment-juggling sequences—generates genuine laughter through well-timed pratfalls and situational humor.

However, the film's structural weaknesses become increasingly apparent as it progresses. The conceit of three marriages wears thin because the screenplay lacks the satirical edge or character depth needed to sustain a 130-minute runtime; each wife becomes a thin archetype rather than a fully realized character, reducing the emotional stakes to near-zero. Tyrewala, whose directorial average sits at 4.8/10, repeats his familiar pattern here: strong first-half momentum followed by a second half that devolves into repetitive gag-recycling and a resolution that feels hastily stitched together. The film wants to be both a romantic comedy and a farce, but commits fully to neither—the Deepika subplot feels like an afterthought, and the climax'

Storyline

So basically, this movie follows this guy named Kumar who gets himself into the messiest situation imaginable. He accidentally ends up marrying not one, not two, but three different women – Juhi, Simran, and Anjali – because he's trying to save each of them from doing something drastic. Instead of coming clean, he decides to juggle all three marriages by keeping them completely in the dark about each other and making up wild excuses to spend time with each wife separately. His friend Karan helps him rent three apartments in the same building, which obviously leads to all sorts of chaotic and hilarious moments as he tries to keep everything hidden.

To make matters even more complicated, Kumar's actually got a girlfriend named Deepika that he genuinely wants to marry. Her dad seems cool with it at first, but then he starts spotting Kumar with different women around town at different times, which obviously raises some serious red flags. Kumar manages to convince him it's all just a prank, but things keep getting messier and messier as his own parents suddenly get back together and realize their son's been married to multiple people.

Eventually, Kumar and Deepika decide the only way to sort out all this drama is to just get married quietly at the courthouse without telling anyone. But of course, by the time Kumar's supposed to show up for the wedding, everything's about to blow up in his face. It's a total comedy of errors watching him try to navigate through all these tangled relationships and the increasingly wild situations that keep getting thrown at him.
