Storyline
I just watched this heartbreaking story about a guy named Anil who's trying to do right by his family. He's a grain merchant living with his wife, mom, and sister, and when his sister gets engaged to this guy who works for the government, everything seems promising. But here's where it all falls apart — Anil needs to come up with dowry money, so he decides to sell some land his father left behind. That should've been straightforward, right? Wrong.
The land turns out to be caught up in some messy legal battle with this powerful MLA named Amar Singh, and suddenly Anil's in way over his head dealing with corrupt politics and shady brokers. Everything keeps spiraling downward — he keeps getting pulled in different directions, promises get broken, and the people who are supposed to help him actually end up making things worse. You can feel the walls closing in on him as innocent moves turn into traps.
What really got to me is how a simple family problem snowballs into this huge nightmare because of greed and power. The system is completely rigged against regular people like Anil, and watching him struggle against all these forces beyond his control is just devastating. I won't say how it all ends, but let me tell you — this film doesn't let you leave the theater feeling good about humanity.
