Zayed Khan
Zayed Khan arrived in Bollywood with solid credentials, being the son of veteran actor Sanjay Khan, but he carved out his own path in the industry with some genuinely entertaining films. Starting his acting career in 2003 with Chura Liyaa Hai Tumne, he quickly landed roles in major productions like Shah Rukh Khan's Main Hoon Na and action thrillers such as Dus and Blue, establishing himself as a dependable lead in the mid-2000s. Though his filmography wasn't massive, Zayed managed to earn a Filmfare nomination and built a respected presence in Hindi cinema before transitioning behind the camera. Beyond acting, he expanded his horizons as a producer, co-founding Born Free Entertainment in 2011 with actress Dia Mirza, showing his ambition to grow within the industry beyond just on-screen work. What set Zayed apart was his versatility—whether it was romantic dramas like Shabd and Anjaani or high-octane action films, he brought a natural charm and screen presence to his roles. Though his active acting period was relatively brief (wrapping up his film career by the late 2000s), he made memorable contributions to Bollywood's commercial cinema of that era. His venture into television with the 2017 show Haasil marked a shift in his career focus, but by then, his legacy as a solid performer and savvy producer was already established. Despite stepping back from the spotlight, Zayed Khan remains a recognizable name from Bollywood's 2000s boom period.
