Storyline
In the shadow of Bhubaneswar's sprawling streets, a man once accustomed to command finds himself reduced to pedaling through traffic, racing against algorithms and the relentless clock of an invisible app. Manas, who once managed factory floors with authority, now chases ratings from strangers and hunts for incentive bonuses that barely stretch across a week's expenses. The fall is steep, the landing harder still, as a family of five—including an aging, ailing mother—depends on the meager coins he gathers one delivery at a time.
But desperation breeds courage, and as Manas battles his new reality, his wife Pratima awakens to a different kind of possibility. She moves beyond the walls that once contained her, stepping into unfamiliar territories—into the homes of wealthy clients as a masseuse, into the sterile corridors of shopping malls as a cleaner. Each venture strips away pieces of her old self, yes, but it also illuminates something she'd forgotten existed: her own agency, her own strength.
What unfolds is a tender, aching portrait of two people navigating a system designed to exploit them, yet somehow discovering threads of dignity and purpose in the most unexpected places. The ratings multiply, the incentives shift, and life continues its relentless march—but within this modern trap, something human persists.
