Mahesh Bhatt's "Sadak 2" attempts to weave together themes of spiritual corruption, personal redemption, and justice, but the execution proves considerably messier than its ambitions. The film follows Ravi, a grieving widower drawn into Aarya's crusade against fraudulent gurus, a premise with genuine relevance in contemporary India. While the core concept—exposing spiritual charlatans—offers fertile ground for meaningful cinema, the narrative becomes increasingly convoluted, jumping between family vendettas, romantic subplots, and action sequences without establishing clear thematic coherence. The performances carry some weight despite the screenplay's shortcomings.
