"Nasha Jurm Aur Gangsters" is a film that mistakes convoluted plotting for narrative complexity and loud posturing for character depth. The premise—a tangled mess of mistaken identities, cop killings, and drug rackets—had potential, but the execution is sloppy and unfocused. The revelation that Jagga Khan murdered Officer Vikram instead of Jeet and Munna should feel like a game-changer, but it lands with a thud because we've spent so little time understanding any of these characters' actual motivations. The performances are adequate at best; there's no standout work here, just actors moving through scenes without conviction. Director struggles to balance the multiple subplots—the politician angle with Sahil Pathan, the Mumbai connection through Jackie Singhania, the forced romantic tension with Nisha—and the result is a film that feels scattered and self-indulgent rather than deliberately layered.

What truly sinks this picture is the absence of a compelling throughline. The introduction of Officer Shruti Shetty as the moral counterforce comes far too late and feels like an afterthought rather than an inevitable collision. The 20-crore drug deal with Jackie Singhania? Barely developed. Jeet's "anger issues" that manifest in his treatment of Nisha? Poorly sketched and ultimately uncomfortable to watch without proper character work. The film mistakes mayhem for drama, expecting us to be invested in a protagonist who's difficult to root for and harder still to understand. There'

Storyline

So basically, Jeet is this tough guy running around with his buddies Munna and Basu doing all sorts of shady stuff in the crime world. Meanwhile, there's this cop named Officer Vikram who's trying to bust a whole smuggling operation, and he ends up catching this guy Dinu who works for a politician named Sahil Pathan. Turns out Sahil's nephew Jaggu is the one actually pushing drugs on the streets, but nobody knows that yet.

Things get really messy when Officer Vikram ends up dead and everyone thinks Jeet and Munna did it—but plot twist, it was actually Jagga Khan all along! This gets Jeet super frustrated and angry, and he starts taking it out on everyone around him, including this girl Nisha who he just keeps fighting with. At the same time, there's this other gangster from Mumbai called Jackie Singhania who wants to do some massive business deal worth like 20 crores with Jeet.

Just when things couldn't get more complicated, a new female cop named Officer Shruti Shetty shows up in the city and starts going after all the criminals she can find. Jeet's crazy illegal activities are putting him right in the crosshairs, and once she arrives, everything basically spirals out of control and nothing goes the way anyone planned.
