Storyline
Shekhar's absolutely head over heels for Roopa, and her doting father Choudhury is totally on board with their marriage—everything's set to be a perfect match! But then Shekhar's greedy stepmother swoops in demanding an outrageous dowry that poor Choudhury simply can't afford, and just like that, the whole engagement explodes! Devastated and disgusted by his family's greed, Shekhar tries desperately to win Choudhury back, but the old man's pride is shattered and he's already moving on.
Now Choudhury's determined to marry Roopa off to some guy named Atmaram instead, and both Shekhar and Roopa are left absolutely crushed, not knowing which way is up!
