"Mirza Juuliet" is a cautionary tale about what happens when ambition wildly outpaces execution. The film attempts to resurrect a classic tragic romance for modern audiences but instead collapses under the weight of its own pretensions, delivering a fundamentally broken cinematic experience. What should have been a sweeping love story devolves into a parade of recycled Bollywood clichés, each more tired than the last. The narrative framework feels cobbled together from a dozen other films, and the storytelling lacks any genuine emotional anchor to justify its heavy-handed approach.

If there's a silver lining to be found in this wreck, it's the committed work of Darshan Kumaar, who at least attempts to inject some humanity into the proceedings. Unfortunately, even a sincere lead performance cannot salvage material this fundamentally flawed or direction this muddled. The film's ideological underpinnings are troubling, wrapped in the kind of regressive storytelling that masquerades as tradition while actually embodying lazy filmmaking. This isn't just a misfire—it's a comprehensive failure on nearly every front that filmmaking encompasses.
