There comes a point when a franchise stops evolving and starts merely existing—and Mastiii 4 has long since crossed that threshold. This fourth installment feels less like a film and more like a tired ritual, where the filmmakers have abandoned any pretense of crafting a genuine story in favor of hurling shock value at the screen and hoping something sticks. Director Milap Zaveri recycles the same formula so relentlessly that you wonder if he's even trying anymore. The humor doesn't land with intelligence or timing; instead, it swings wildly between lazy crudeness and outright offensive material, treating shock for shock's sake as a substitute for actual comedy. The characters remain frozen in time—no growth, no surprise, no reason to care about what happens to them.
What's most disheartening is watching a film mistake vulgarity for maturity and believe that adult themes automatically equal adult comedy. The rare moments that might earn a genuine laugh are suffocated by gratuitous gags that seem designed to offend rather than entertain. Even the performances can't escape the quicksand of the writing—talented actors are left stranded in material that asks nothing of them except to deliver the next crude setup.
