There's something almost painfully earnest about this film that makes it impossible not to feel *something*, even when the plot mechanics creak under the weight of their own contrivance. The Canada setting feels like window dressing for what is fundamentally a story about wounded hearts learning to trust again, and director manages to extract genuine moments of vulnerability from what could have been a tired love rectangle. Arjun Kapoor, as Amish, carries the emotional burden beautifully—his scenes operating on Lisa while battling his own demons have real stakes, real trembling in his voice. The supporting cast, particularly the chemistry between Dev and Seema, provides the film's unexpected heartbeat; their arc from banter to tenderness feels earned rather than imposed. However, the screenplay struggles with pacing in the second half, lingering too long on the Lisa-Amish confusion while rushing through what should be Seema's most transformative moments.

What works most powerfully here is how the film understands that healing isn't about forgetting—it's about choosing yourself first, then choosing wisely. Seema's role as Amish's emotional anchor could have been reduced to mere support, but the narrative gives her agency and spine. Yet there are missteps: the meddling elders veer into caricature, the accident that brings everyone together strains credibility, and there's a melodrama in the final act that threatens to topple the emotional authenticity the film has carefully bu

Storyline

A heartbroken brain surgeon named Amish decides to escape his Lisa heartbreak by whisking off to Canada with his best mate Dev—a charming rogue who's always got a flirty quip ready. Out of nowhere, they spot a nasty accident on the road and heroically rescue Mr. Khanna's entire family, kickstarting this wild adventure where everyone decides to travel together. The real magic happens when Dev and Seema, the widowed daughter-in-law, lock eyes—he's all smooth moves at first, but something genuine blooms beneath the banter.

Here's where it gets juicy: Lisa suddenly resurfaces in Amish's orbit, but his bruised ego and her pride keep them spinning in separate orbits like stubborn planets. The meddling elders smell romance in the air and start playing matchmaker between Amish and Seema, especially after Dev gallantly steps aside. Then tragedy strikes when Lisa collapses and desperately needs brain surgery—the very thing Amish specializes in—but emotional turmoil nearly paralyzes him.

Seema becomes his rock, rallying his courage when he's drowning in self-doubt and actually believing in him when it matters most. Amish operates and saves Lisa's life, forcing him to finally confront his feelings and realize what was always clear. The ending is pure Bollywood bliss: Amish and Lisa reconcile their hearts, while Dev and Seema seal their love with marriage—everyone gets their happy ending wrapped in authentic emotion and genuine connection!
