Review
This film attempts to explore the darker side of romantic obsession and betrayal, but executes the premise with such narrative clumsiness that the potentially engaging revenge arc collapses under its own contradictions. The core concept—a man's unwavering devotion transforming into criminal ambition while remaining emotionally tethered to the woman who destroyed him—could have yielded compelling psychological drama. Instead, the screenplay staggers between melodramatic excess and unconvincing character motivations, particularly in how Amar's transformation from hospital caregiver to criminal kingpin feels rushed and unearned. The direction fails to build the tension necessary to make either the romance credible in its early stages or the subsequent betrayal genuinely impactful. What we're left with is a film that mistakes plot twists for character development.
The performances appear to struggle against a script that doesn't provide sufficient grounding. Amar's perpetual forgiveness of Anjali reads not as tragic devotion but as narrative laziness—a way to justify keeping the protagonist in orbit around an antagonist who has already revealed her true nature multiple times. The false abuse accusation, rather than serving as a turning point, feels like the screenplay simply running out of realistic conflict mechanisms. By the climax, the film has already depleted whatever goodwill it might have generated, and the "extreme" act Anjali commits arrives not as a shocking culminatio
Storyline
So basically, this guy Amar meets this amazing woman Anjali at a hospital, and they fall head over heels for each other. An elderly wealthy patient that Amar was caring for wakes up from her coma and decides to leave all her money to him because she's grateful for his kindness. Amar's not really interested in the cash, but Anjali convinces him that refusing would be disrespectful to the old lady's wishes, so he accepts it.
After they get married, things take a pretty dark turn. Anjali manipulates Amar into transferring all the inheritance to her name, and once she has the money, she completely changes and kicks him out. The thing is, Amar is so devoted to her that he keeps trying to win her back and doesn't even care about the money anymore. When she realizes he won't give up on their relationship, she makes up a false domestic abuse case against him to get rid of him for good.
Life gets pretty rough for Amar after he gets out of jail. He ends up working as a bodyguard for some criminal guy and eventually becomes a big-time criminal himself with tons of money. But his heart never really moves on from Anjali, and he keeps trying to reach out to her despite her constant mistreatment. She eventually attempts something pretty extreme to try to deal with him once and for all, which sets up the whole climax of the movie.
