However, the execution struggles to balance cosmic stakes with intimate emotional arcs. The direction feels uncertain about whether to lean into philosophical meditation on loss or deliver spectacle, resulting in a film that doesn't fully commit to either. The performances, while earnest, don't quite bridge the gap between human vulnerability and divine grandeur that the story demands.
What works most convincingly is the visual language surrounding Uma's devotion—her physical transformation and spiritual resolve could have been the emotional spine the film needed. Storyline
