"Hanste Khelte" stumbles into an intriguing premise—three wrongly-accused college kids trapped in a murder mystery—but squanders it with uneven execution and a tone that can't decide if it's a comedy or a thriller. The first half leans hard into slapstick humor, which works occasionally when the timing lands, but more often feels like filler padding out a script that's thinner than it should be. The three leads have chemistry, sure, but their performances are mostly surface-level mugging; none of them dig deep enough to make their characters feel genuinely desperate or three-dimensional. Storyline
