Mridul Madhulkar's directorial debut is a surprisingly refreshing take on the underdog-college-comedy formula, even if it stumbles in execution. The film's greatest strength lies in its ensemble chemistry—Pulkit Samrat and Varun Sharma's timing as Hunny and Choocha generates genuine laughs, while Richa Chadha brings a magnetic intensity to what could've been a one-dimensional character. The premise itself is delightfully absurd: lottery numbers extracted from dreams, bumbling con artists, and a heist that never quite materializes into anything coherent. Yet there's an earnestness to how the film balances humor with the characters' desperation that elevates it beyond typical youth comedies. Madhulkar demonstrates a keen eye for comedic pacing and Delhi's distinctive cultural texture, though the narrative occasionally loses its footing when attempting to weave multiple character arcs together.

Where the film falters is in its structural discipline and third-act coherence. The setup is engaging, but once all four protagonists converge, the story becomes increasingly muddled—the "wild idea" feels more like a collection of loosely connected sequences than a carefully orchestrated plot. The romance subplots feel obligatory rather than organic, and some supporting performances veer into caricature. Storyline

So basically, these two lazy Delhi school guys named Hunny and Choocha are absolute disasters when it comes to academics, but they're desperate to get into this fancy college anyway. They hear through the college guard that he can hook them up with leaked exam papers for serious cash, which they obviously don't have. But here's where it gets interesting—Choocha's got this weird superpower where he can dream lottery numbers, and Hunny can somehow extract those exact numbers from his dreams. They try to make money by selling those stolen papers to other students, but that whole plan falls apart pretty quickly, and they're back to square one.

While they're struggling, they end up meeting this guy Zafar through the college guard—he's a former student who's trying to make it as a musician but life's been pretty rough on him. Then there's Lali, this other dude whose family runs a sweet shop, and he's also dying to get into the same college because his crush Shalu studies there. The college wants him to donate a ton of money to even consider his application, but his dad's not having it since he thinks education is a waste of cash. Zafar's got his own problems too—his dad had a stroke and needs expensive medical treatment, and his ex-girlfriend is actually tutoring Lali now.

So eventually all four of these guys somehow meet up at the college guard's place, and Hunny pitches this wild idea to them. Now that there's a whole group of them with different reasons to get money and make it happen, things start to get a lot more complicated and interesting than what any of them had planned initially.
