Storyline
Dr. Rohan Verma's life seems picture-perfect when he lands a prestigious chief surgeon post in Bombay along with a bungalow and a car—basically the dream package! He and his wife Suman, a schoolteacher, settle into their new home and start fresh, but their fairy tale gets interrupted when a burglar breaks in one night. Enter Inspector Indrajeet Saxena, charming and helpful, who not only catches the burglar but also saves Suman when she's framed in a drug case—he's basically their guardian angel!
But here's where things get deliciously twisted: Inder's helpfulness masks something sinister underneath. He becomes obsessively attached to Suman, and when Rohan realizes his cop friend is unhinged—literally shooting an unarmed burglar and dismissing human life—he tries to warn his wife. Suman, however, thinks Inder's brutal justice is justified, which absolutely crushes Rohan! Inder keeps inserting himself into their lives, discarding a sex worker without a second thought and strategically befriending Suman at her school by learning her deepest pain: she lost her baby years ago because Rohan wasn't there for her during the miscarriage.
