"Faisla" swings for the fences with a revenge narrative that should pack genuine punch, but instead lands as a muddled, overambitious mess that can't decide whether it wants to be a gritty vigilante thriller or a convoluted whodunit. The premise—three convicts hunting their daughter's killer through a labyrinth of mansion intrigue and criminal conspiracies—has teeth, but director fumbles the execution entirely. The performances are wildly uneven; when the film lets its leads simmer in raw grief and rage, there's something there, but too often the actors are left stranded by choppy editing and unclear character motivations that make you question what they're even supposed to be feeling.
The real problem is the bloated second half, where the story trips over itself introducing new antagonists, red herrings, and subplot after subplot that dilute rather than deepen the emotional core. That blind daughter angle could've been devastating if handled with restraint, but instead it becomes another plot device in an overstuffed drawer. The violence, when it comes, feels obligatory rather than earned—shock value masquerading as catharsis. Storyline
