Abhishek Dudhaiya's *Ekkees Toppon Ki Salaami* operates on a genuinely warm premise—two sons determined to secure their overlooked father's moment of ceremonial honor—and there's something quietly touching about that emotional core. The film doesn't pretend to be more than it is: a comedy built on escalating schemes and misadventures. Sunny Deol brings a weathered sincerity to Purushottam that anchors the more farcical moments around him, and the supporting cast commits enthusiastically to the absurdity. Where the film stumbles, however, is in execution. The comedy relies heavily on repetition rather than wit, and the logic of the brothers' increasingly convoluted plans often strains credibility even for a film asking us to suspend disbelief. The screenplay, despite its earnest intentions, lacks the narrative momentum to sustain interest across its runtime.

Storyline

So basically, there's this guy named Purushottam who's spent his entire life working honestly as a government employee, but nobody's really given him the recognition he deserves. His two sons, Shekhar and Subhash, notice their dad's dream of getting a proper 21 gun salute – you know, that ultimate mark of honor – and they decide to make it happen no matter what it takes!

What makes the movie so entertaining is watching these brothers go absolutely crazy trying to pull off this insane plan. They get into all sorts of wild and hilarious situations as they attempt to arrange this ceremonial honor for their father. The film is basically a roller coaster of comedy and thrills as they keep coming up with one ridiculous scheme after another.

The whole thing becomes this heartwarming journey about two guys who just want to see their dad finally get the respect he's earned over all these years. You're left wondering throughout the movie whether these brothers will actually manage to pull off this seemingly impossible mission, which keeps things really engaging and fun!
