Storyline
So basically this guy in a mask just shows up and murders this female singer, right? And the cops immediately think it's this rich kid named Gautam whose dad kicked him out of the family business. But then this psychology expert on the team isn't so sure — he's got a feeling there's way more going on beneath the surface than what's obvious.
The flashback shows us that Gautam was this entitled brat who got embarrassed at his ex's wedding, and the singer Aarvi literally turned that moment into a rap song. So he's humiliated and thrown out of his house. Then he plays this whole romantic game with Aarvi — pretends to love her, helps her deal with some rival, and she completely buys it. Turns out Aarvi's been chasing her estranged father her whole life, desperate for him to acknowledge her as his daughter so she can throw it back in his face later.
Here's where it gets messy — Gautam actually leaks her private childhood photos online just to mess with her, and her father publicly rejects her because of it. She's destroyed. But then a few months later, after Gautam gets beaten up by the ex's husband, Aarvi ends up taking care of him and something shifts. He genuinely falls for her and asks for another chance, but then... well, you know where this leads given the opening scene.
