6/10Critic Score

Salman Khan returns as the irreverent Chulbul Pandey with the same swagger and one-liners that have made the Dabangg franchise a reliable crowd-pleaser, and he executes the role with the ease of someone who knows this character in his sleep. The film's first half moves with decent momentum—there's a human trafficking subplot that attempts to inject some social relevance, and Khan's chemistry with Sonakshi Sinha remains a comfortable watch. However, director Prabhu Deva, whose own body of work has been inconsistent, doesn't do much to elevate the material beyond formula. The action sequences are serviceable but uninspired, and the screenplay relies heavily on Chulbul's larger-than-life persona to paper over the creases rather than crafting a genuinely engaging narrative.

Where the film stumbles most is in its second half, when the personal vendetta with antagonist Bali Singh is unveiled. The backstory feels hastily explained, and the emotional stakes that should anchor the climax never quite land with the weight they deserve. Sudeep does what he can with the villain role, but the character lacks the menace or complexity needed to justify the obsessive buildup. There's also an uneven tone—scenes attempting genuine drama sit uncomfortably next to mindless action and dated comedy that doesn't always land. The supporting cast, including Khan's on-screen family, feels underutilized.

That said, this is unmistakably a film made for Salman Khan's fanbase, and it delivers what they e

Storyline

So basically, our favorite corrupt cop Chulbul is back doing his thing—he busts up a robbery at some fancy wedding and beats down the criminals like a boss. Life goes on with him juggling his wife, his brother who's also a cop, and his kid, all while his dad hangs out at home. One day, a girl shows up at the police station in rough shape, claiming she's been kidnapped and forced into something really dark. Chulbul and his brother team up to track down the guy running this whole trafficking operation and manage to arrest him.

Things get pretty intense when Chulbul's trying to get the criminal to confess. A lawyer and some thugs roll up trying to get the guy released, but Chulbul totally refuses to cooperate and even destroys the court papers. The leader of these goons decides to record everything and show it to his boss through a video call—and that's when things take a wild turn. The boss on the other end sees Chulbul and recognizes him immediately, which clearly shocks him to his core.

It turns out that Chulbul and this mysterious crime boss, Bali Singh, have some serious history from way back. When Chulbul was younger, something went down between them that clearly left some deep scars. Now this encounter is bringing back all those memories and unresolved issues, and you know it's about to get really personal and messy for our hero.
