Crazxy arrives as a deliberate middle finger to Bollywood's formula-obsessed playbook, and there's undeniable courage in that defiance. Director Kohli constructs a lean survival thriller that strips away the usual emotional manipulation and crowd-pleasing nonsense, instead opting for a stripped-down road narrative that rests almost entirely on Sohum Shah's performance. And what a performance it is—Shah delivers some of his finest work here, channeling a raw, visceral intensity that carries the film's thematic ambitions. The technical craft deserves genuine recognition: the cinematography creates genuine unease, and the percussion-driven score builds tension with surgical precision. This is bold cinema for the mainstream, unafraid to leave audiences uncomfortable and unsettled.

The problem? Ambition and execution are not the same thing. The screenplay collapses under its own structural inconsistencies, with pacing issues that repeatedly derail the survival narrative's momentum and logic holes that crack the film's foundation at critical moments. The climax commits the cardinal sin of abandoning everything the first ninety minutes established, dissolving into melodrama that feels like it wandered in from a different, far more conventional film. Shah's solo-carry—while occasionally brilliant—becomes a limitation rather than a strength; surrounding him with only disembodied voices creates isolation that frequently frustrates rather than fascinates. Storyline

So basically this movie is about a surgeon guy named Abhimanyu who's going through an absolute nightmare. His daughter has been kidnapped and he's desperately trying to save her while the clock is ticking down. It's pretty intense stuff that really gets your heart racing from the start.

But here's the twist – Abhimanyu isn't just some random guy. He's a super talented doctor who made some serious mistakes in his past that came back to haunt him. Apparently, there was a medical negligence incident that he's been carrying around, and now it seems like karma might be catching up with him in the worst possible way.

The whole movie basically plays out with him facing the consequences of what he did before while also trying to do everything he can to bring his daughter back safely. It's one of those stories where your past literally comes knocking on your door and forces you to confront it, all while you're fighting against time itself. Pretty gripping stuff!
