5/10Critic Score

This film attempts an ambitious tonal shift that, unfortunately, feels more jarring than purposeful. The opening act establishes a competent college romance with the expected Bollywood charm—there's genuine chemistry between the leads, and the festival setting provides vibrant visual energy. However, the abrupt pivot to terror-attack territory resembles the structural missteps we've seen in films like *A Wednesday!* or *Raazi*, except without the narrative scaffolding those films built beforehand. The direction struggles to justify why these romantic subplots matter once bullets start flying, and the transition feels less like organic storytelling and more like two different scripts awkwardly stitched together. The performances, while earnest, can't quite bridge the gap between rom-com banter and action-thriller intensity.

What the film does attempt with conviction is centering ordinary youths as reluctant heroes—a premise with real potential in contemporary Indian cinema. The problem is the execution flattens this concept into predictable beats. Rather than exploring the psychological toll or believable limitations of untrained college students in crisis, the narrative conveniently sidelines realism for heroic spectacle. The supporting characters promised in the synopsis feel underutilized, and the action sequences lack the crisp choreography or narrative weight that would elevate them beyond routine. For a film that clearly wants to marry entertainment with socia

Storyline

So basically, this flick kicks off at a college where there's this big youth festival happening, and it's got all those fun, lighthearted vibes you'd expect. You've got these four main characters—Roxy, Gopu, and Kate—who are dealing with typical college romance and comedy stuff, plus some hilarious supporting characters thrown in for good measure. It's pretty entertaining and romantic during this whole first part, just watching these young folks have a blast on campus.

But then things take a serious turn when a terror attack suddenly happens right there on the college grounds. It's a pretty dramatic shift from all that fun festival energy, and suddenly the story gets really intense and action-packed.

What's cool about the movie is how these young characters actually step up and become heroes. Instead of just panicking, they use their energy and smarts to help stop the attack and protect everyone around them. It's like watching ordinary college kids transform into something way more courageous when things get real.
