Storyline
Oh my god, you have to watch this film! It's set way back in 1800s Bengal, and it's about this girl Bulbbul who gets married off as a tiny kid to this rich guy Indranil. But here's the thing—she actually grows up super close with his younger brother Satya, who's around her age. They're basically best friends, always making up these spooky stories together about witches and supernatural stuff. It's kind of adorable and eerie at the same time, honestly.
So fast forward like twenty years, and Satya comes back from London after being away for ages. Things have gotten really dark in the village—there's been all these mysterious deaths that everyone's blaming on some curse, and Bulbbul's basically running the entire household now because her husband's gone. There's this whole mystery vibe where people start dying under weird circumstances, and everyone's trying to figure out who or what is responsible. The village doctor keeps coming around to check on Bulbbul too, and there's clearly some painful secret from her past that nobody's talking about.
What really gets you is piecing together what actually happened between Bulbbul and Satya all those years ago. There are these flashback scenes that show how their relationship got totally messed up by other people's jealousy and manipulation, and honestly it broke my heart.
