Abhishek Dudhaiya's *Bhavesh Joshi Superhero* arrives with genuine idealism at its core, a quality that elevates it beyond the cynicism often found in Hindi cinema. The film's central premise—ordinary citizens weaponizing digital platforms to expose corruption—feels relevant and urgent, particularly in how it portrays grassroots activism as messy, unglamorous work rather than heroic spectacle. Harshvardhan Kapoor carries the film with commendable commitment, channeling Bhavesh's transformation from idealistic youngster to obsessed crusader with quiet intensity. The supporting cast, especially the chemistry between the three friends, grounds the narrative in believable camaraderie before ideological fissures tear them apart. What deserves credit is Dudhaiya's refusal to glamorize his protagonist's journey—there's a deliberate ungainliness to the vigilantism that respects the intelligence of the audience.

However, the film struggles significantly in its second half, where the narrative shifts from social commentary to a more conventional thriller machinery. The transition feels abrupt; once the crime boss enters as antagonist, the film loses the nuanced exploration of corruption it had established and defaults to familiar chase-and-confront beats. Arjun Rampal's villain, despite capable acting, lacks the textured menace the script promises. The climax, while attempting moral complexity, ultimately muddles its own thematic concerns rather than clarifying them. Technical executi

Storyline

So basically, there are these three buddies who meet at a protest rally and really hit it off. Two of them, Bhavesh and Siku, decide to start this online channel called Insaaf TV where they basically call out corrupt people in their city. They wear these goofy paper bag masks and go after small-time crooks and officials doing shady stuff in their neighborhood. It's actually pretty popular at first!

But here's where things get messy—Siku gets a fancy corporate job after college and slowly loses interest in their whole justice crusade. Meanwhile, Bhavesh becomes like totally obsessed with fighting corruption everywhere, even though their viewer count is basically just their friend Rajat at this point. When an older person emails Bhavesh about water issues in their area, he digs deep and uncovers this whole scheme where pipes are being stolen to sell water back to people. He exposes it all online, which doesn't go unnoticed.

Once Bhavesh reveals this water corruption scandal, things get serious. A dangerous crime boss who's running the whole operation decides he needs to find out who's behind that masked vigilante, and he's willing to do whatever it takes to track him down. Meanwhile, Siku is dealing with his own problems trying to get his paperwork sorted for moving to America, and he's running into roadblocks with the police despite doing everything right.
