Storyline
One look at the graceful Pooja performing pooja in the temple, and wealthy Thakur Suraj Pratap is completely smitten—he marries her within days, giving her impoverished family a ticket to respectability. Pooja arrives at his palatial home with her beloved younger brother Raju in tow, and years pass in relative contentment, though a painful secret gnaws at their marriage: she's unable to bear children despite everything they've tried. Meanwhile, Raju grows into a fiercely loyal man who falls genuinely in love with Thakur's sister Jyoti, creating this beautiful domestic harmony that feels almost too perfect.
Then Vaishali crashes into their world—a seductive courtesan with a sleazy brother Gajendra who's basically a parasite on her earnings—and suddenly Thakur's wandering eye becomes a full-blown affair with dangerous consequences.
