5/10Critic Score

This is exactly the kind of contrived, paint-by-numbers Bollywood formula that mistakes loud chaos for entertainment. The premise—a ticking-clock marriage scramble with a sabotaging cousin—is as stale as yesterday's samosa, and the execution doesn't breathe a moment of originality into it. The film treats us like we've never seen a deadline comedy before, hitting every predictable beat with the subtlety of a sledgehammer: scheming relative, convenient love interest, loyal comic sidekick, climactic race against time. There's no wit here, no layering, just mechanical plot points strung together by expository dialogue and convenient coincidences.

The performances are serviceable at best—nobody's making a meal of their roles, which is precisely the problem. Without committed acting to elevate the material, we're left watching actors simply move through their paces. The direction lacks any distinctive vision; it's assembly-line cinema, competent but lifeless. Even the supposed "adrenaline rush" of the climax feels manufactured rather than earned, because we've never invested in these characters beyond their function in the story.

That said, the film's earnest stupidity occasionally catches you off-guard in moments that almost work—there's a certain charm to the relentless optimism, and the Austin car gives the proceedings a whimsical visual anchor. But charm and one good production design choice don't save lazy filmmaking. This is the kind of movie that works as background noise

Storyline

Suresh gets a shot at his uncle's fortune, but here's the catch—he's gotta tie the knot and make it to the lawyer's office by 11 AM sharp, or his scheming cousin Harish gets everything instead. So Suresh desperately asks Harish for help finding a bride, completely clueless that his cousin is actually sabotaging him the whole time. It's chaos from the start!

But Harish's got dark plans brewing—he's determined to keep Suresh single and broke by throwing every obstacle in his path. Just when things look impossible, Suresh gets a lifeline from the spirited Lakshmi and his buddy Tattu, who's got this sweet Austin car at their disposal. These two become absolute legends, helping him navigate the madness while Harish keeps scheming.

Against all odds, they actually pull it off—Suresh gets married and races through the streets in that Austin to hit the deadline with time to spare! Harish's evil plot crumbles, Lakshmi proves herself the real MVP, and Suresh finally gets what he deserves. Pure adrenaline rush from beginning to end!
