Partho Ghosh was a veteran Bollywood director who carved out a solid career spanning over four decades, from 1980 right up until 2025. The Calcutta-born filmmaker made a mark with a string of successful films that featured some of the industry's biggest names. His standout works include the romantic drama 100 Days, which brought together Jackie Shroff and Madhuri Dixit in a memorable pairing, along with hard-hitting thrillers like Teesra Kaun and Dalaal, the latter showcasing Mithun Chakraborty's intensity. Agni-Sakshi, another of his notable ventures, demonstrated his ability to work with powerhouse performers like Jackie Shroff and Nana Patekar, establishing him as a reliable director who could handle complex narratives and strong-willed actors.
