R. Sarathkumar

R. Sarathkumar is a powerhouse in Tamil cinema who's built an impressive career spanning over three decades and more than 150 films across multiple industries—Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi. Starting his journey as a bodybuilder-turned-journalist, he made his acting debut in 1986 with the Telugu film Samajamlo Sthree, initially taking on negative roles before evolving into a commanding lead actor. His versatility and screen presence earned him the well-deserved nicknames "Super Hero" and "Supreme Star" in Tamil cinema, backed by numerous accolades including two Tamil Nadu State Film Awards and three Filmfare Awards South. Beyond the silver screen, Sarathkumar has also ventured into political activism, launching his own political party, All India Samathuva Makkal Katchi (AISMK), and serving as a Member of Legislative Assembly for Tenkasi.
