Starting as a TV actor in the late 90s, he made his film debut with Boyfriend (2005) and quickly proved he could command attention on screen, earning particular acclaim for his menacing antagonist role in Milana (2007). Over his journey, Raj appeared in 24 films including U Turn (2016) and Orchestra Mysuru (2023), but it was his work behind the camera that really set him apart—he wore multiple hats as a director, producer, and founder of DR Creations, a production banner that churned out numerous successful television serials that kept audiences hooked.
