Selfiee

So this Bollywood film follows this big movie star who's in a massive rush to get a driver's license before heading to America for his newborn baby. He's got a shoot happening in Bhopal that's already over budget, so he tries to take some shortcuts with the local traffic inspector. The inspector, who's apparently obsessed with him, agrees to help but wants a selfie in return. Seems like a simple deal, right? Wrong.

Everything blows up when paparazzi catch him driving without a valid license, and suddenly it becomes this huge national controversy. His wife gets fed up with the drama and leaves for the US without him, while he's stuck dealing with this mess. The inspector actually calls him out publicly and challenges him to get the license the legitimate way. So Vijay decides to turn the whole thing into a televised event to prove he's not getting special treatment—basically damage control on steroids.

What follows is this entertaining back-and-forth where Vijay has to actually pass all the driving tests on live television in front of the whole country. It's awkward, it's dramatic, and you can feel the pressure mounting as he goes through the theoretical exam and then moves on to the actual driving portions. The film keeps you guessing about whether this celebrity with an ego can actually pull this off without cheating his way through.
