There's an undeniable electricity in the opening moments of this film—a hail of bullets shattering a car, leaving you gasping for answers before the narrative even begins to unfold. What follows is a collision between two worlds: Sandeep, a sharp-edged banking executive harboring secrets that could unravel her carefully constructed life, and Pinky, a Haryana cop whose irritating demeanor masks something far more complex. Their initial chemistry crackles with tension and mutual disdain, and you sense immediately that fate has trapped them together in ways neither could have anticipated. When Pinky witnesses a checkpoint massacre meant to silence them both, the game changes entirely—suddenly they're bound by survival, each unsure if the other can be trusted.
What makes the film compelling is this claustrophobic dance between two people forced into proximity by circumstance rather than choice. As paranoia sets in and they attempt the impossible task of appearing normal at a party, you feel the walls closing in around them. The narrative promises a descent into moral ambiguity and danger, asking whether two people who barely tolerate each other can become allies in the darkness. Yet despite these intriguing bones, the execution never quite reaches the heights the premise demands. The tension that should accumulate becomes uneven; moments that should devastate sometimes flatten, and the complexity hinted at in the opening doesn't always pay off with the emotional or narrative pay
Storyline
So there's this intense opening where a car just gets completely riddled with bullets out of nowhere, and you're sitting there wondering what the hell just happened. Then the movie rewinds and you meet Sandy, this high-powered bank executive who's basically living the corporate dream, except she's got this secret nobody knows about yet. She crosses paths with Pinky, a cop from Haryana who's supposed to be helping her get somewhere, but instead of being all professional about it, he's annoying and keeps yapping on his phone to his boss about where they are. The chemistry between them is weird and tense right from the start.
Then everything goes to shit when Pinky witnesses this horrific shooting at a checkpoint, and he realizes it wasn't random at all — Sandy was the target, and he was supposed to go down with her so it'd look like collateral damage. He's freaking out, trying to figure out what Sandy's actually involved in, but she's playing it cool and not giving him straight answers. You can feel the paranoia setting in now, like both of them are trapped in something bigger than they bargained for.
The whole vibe shifts when Sandy drags Pinky to this party to try and act normal, but obviously there's no way they can just chill and pretend nothing happened. Everything feels dangerous now, and you're watching these two people who barely tolerate each other get pulled into this mess where they might be the only ones who can actually trust each other. It's dark and twisted, and you want to know how deep this rabbit hole goes.
