Rajkumar Santoshi's "Raat Gayi, Baat Gayi?" attempts to dissect the anxieties of modern matrimony through the lens of a hungover morning and its cascading paranoia, but the execution falters where the premise promised intrigue. The film's central conceit—Rahul's fragmentary memory of a night with a mysterious woman—could have generated genuine tension or dark comedy, yet instead it meanders through predictable domestic squabbles without committing to either dramatic depth or satirical bite. The supporting track involving Saxena and Amit's marital troubles feels more like padding than meaningful parallel narrative, diluting whatever thematic coherence the film might have achieved.
