Nawabzaade

Nawabzaade is a film that understands the assignment of light-hearted entertainment but fumbles the execution with uneven pacing and a script that mistakes loudness for humor. The premise—three friends competing for the same girl—is hardly original, yet it could've worked if the direction had any real bite or the performances had chemistry worth investing in. Instead, what we get is a predictable romp that relies heavily on slapstick and forced situations, with the actors playing it so broadly that any genuine emotional stakes evaporate within the first twenty minutes.
