Comparing it to films like "Pink" or "Raazi," which navigate dark subject matter with both sensitivity and narrative purpose, "Koi Aap Sa" lacks the structural sophistication to handle such weighty material. The hospital climax and its "shocking news" feel engineered for melodrama rather than genuine emotional resonance. The film wants to be both a youth romance and a serious social drama but commits fully
