Storyline
So there's this guy Jayesh living in this Gujarati village with his whole family, and they're basically obsessed with having a son. His wife Mudra is pregnant again, and everyone's got their fingers crossed for a boy this time. But here's the twist—Jayesh finds out it's another girl, and he's actually cool with it because he believes in treating men and women equally.
The dark part is that Mudra has already been forced to abort six female babies over nine years just to please the family's obsession with having a male heir. One more abortion and she won't be able to have kids anymore, which is absolutely heartbreaking. Jayesh realizes he can't let this happen again, so he decides to keep the truth about the baby's gender a secret from everyone.
Instead of just sitting around and accepting this messed-up situation, Jayesh comes up with this wild plan to escape with his wife and daughter to some village in Haryana that's apparently full of men who are desperate for women to move there. It's a crazy scheme, but he's determined to protect his unborn daughter and give his family a chance at a different life away from all this pressure.
