Jackpot is a misfire on almost every conceivable level, a film that mistakes loud stupidity for comedy and calls it entertainment. The premise—built around a lottery ticket and the chaos that ensues—had potential, but the execution is so sloppy that you wonder if anyone involved actually read the script before rolling cameras. The performances are wooden, the dialogue falls flat with a thud, and the direction lacks any semblance of pace or comedic timing. What little story exists gets lost somewhere between poorly timed gags and inexplicable character decisions that make no narrative sense.
