Ganapath

Ganapath attempts to transplant the dystopian action formula onto Indian cinema, drawing inspiration from globally successful franchises like Mad Max and The Hunger Games. Yet director Vikas Bahl's execution falters catastrophically, resulting in a film that confuses derivative borrowing with homage. The narrative—centered on a hero rising against systemic inequality—tackles thematically resonant material, but the screenplay lacks the sophistication and originality needed to elevate beyond surface-level world-building.
