Storyline
So okay, you know how sometimes life just throws you a curveball when you're least expecting it? This guy Dev is basically grinding away at his startup in Bangalore, living this whole independent life away from his folks back in Mumbai, right? But then his mom calls and drops this bomb on him—his longtime best friend Alina is getting married in Thailand, and everyone's expecting him to show up. The thing is, Dev's been secretly crushing on this girl for over a decade but has never actually told her. Can you imagine that kind of heartbreak?
And here's where it gets messier—Alina herself calls him to personally invite him, and she's like, "You better come or I'm not even getting married." So now he's completely frozen, not knowing what to do with all these feelings he's been bottling up. But then something wild happens—he's listening to this famous talk show host on TV who's literally giving advice to someone in the exact same situation, telling them to just go and get some closure already. It's like the universe is basically pushing him toward this decision.
Next thing you know, there's Dev at the airport with his boarding pass to Bangkok, probably a complete mess internally but moving forward anyway. Like, you can feel the chaos of his emotions from a mile away—he's about to walk into this whole situation where he has to face the woman he loves while she's marrying someone else. It's going to be intense, you know?
