Abhishek Bachchan carries *Bluffmaster!* with a charisma that makes you want to believe in Roy, even when the script doesn't always deserve your trust. There's something genuinely engaging about watching a charming con artist unravel emotionally—the performance captures that beautiful contradiction between smoothness and vulnerability, especially in scenes where Roy's bravado crumbles. Rimi Sen brings warmth to Simmi, and their fractured romance feels like the emotional spine the film desperately needs. However, director Roshan Shankar's execution feels scattered, juggling too many tones without mastering any single one. The film wants to be a slick heist comedy, a touching love story, and a redemption arc all at once, and somewhere in that ambitious mess, the narrative coherence gets lost. Scenes that should land with impact feel rushed, and the medical twist—meant to be the turning point—arrives too late to fundamentally reshape what came before it.

Storyline

So there's this smooth-talking con artist named Roy who's been pulling off elaborate scams left and right. Everything seems perfect until his girlfriend Simmi catches on to his whole deceptive lifestyle on their engagement day and dumps him. Roy spirals pretty hard after that, hitting the bottle pretty heavily to cope with the breakup.

While drowning his sorrows, Roy crosses paths with two wannabe scammers named Dittu and Jassi who initially try to pull a fast one on him—spoiler alert, they fail miserably. Instead of giving up, Roy ends up bonding with these guys and teaching them the tricks of the trade. Together they start running various cons on unsuspecting targets, from regular families to dangerous criminals sitting on stacks of illegal cash.

Things take a dramatic turn when Roy keeps having these weird dizzy spells that keep knocking him out cold. After one particularly bad episode at a club, Dittu drags him to the hospital where he gets some devastating news that completely changes his perspective on life. Meanwhile, Simmi has moved on and is about to marry someone she doesn't actually care about, but Roy's attempt to reconnect with her reveals they still have feelings for each other, and their paths start crossing again in meaningful ways.
