Born in Karachi in 1944, Tulsi carved out an impressive career directing some of the most memorably creepy films of the 1980s and '90s. His movies—*Hotel*, *Purana Mandir*, *Tahkhana*, *Veerana*, and *Bandh Darwaza*—aren't just films; they're cult classics that defined an entire era of Indian horror. Beyond the big screen, he also directed the legendary *Zee Horror Show* in 1993, a series that genuinely terrified generations of viewers and remains fresh in the minds of horror fans across India. What set Tulsi apart was his knack for building genuine dread with limited budgets and creative resourcefulness—a signature Ramsay brothers trait.
