Tigmanshu Dhulia is one of Bollywood's most versatile storytellers—a director, screenwriter, and dialogue writer who's been consistently delivering compelling cinema since the '90s. He first made waves as the dialogue writer for Dil Se.. in 1998, the groundbreaking Shah Rukh Khan film that became the first Hindi movie to chart in the UK top ten and screen at the Berlin International Film Festival. But it's his directorial ventures that truly cemented his place in Indian cinema: Paan Singh Tomar, a gritty biographical drama that premiered at the 2010 BFI London Film Festival, went on to win the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in 2012, and the Saheb, Biwi Aur Gangster franchise, which redefined the crime-thriller genre with its bold storytelling and layered characters. His credentials are backed by a master's degree in theatre from the National School of Drama in New Delhi.
