Gulshan Kumar was the visionary entrepreneur who practically built the Bollywood music industry as we know it. Born in Delhi and educated at Delhi University, he founded T-Series in 1983, transforming it from a humble cassette label into the powerhouse it is today. Throughout the 1990s, he became a defining figure in the music business, revolutionizing how film music reached audiences across India. His legacy wasn't just about business acumen—he shaped the sound and distribution of Bollywood itself during a pivotal era in the industry's evolution.
