Directing 51 films, he became known as a talent scout who introduced numerous actors to Telugu cinema, many of whom went on to become major stars. His production company, E. V. V. Cinema, established in 2000, allowed him greater creative control and production capabilities. Whether behind the camera or at the helm of his own banner, Satyanarayana proved himself to be a filmmaker with both commercial instincts and the ability to nurture new talent—a rare combination that made him one of Telugu cinema's most reliable and respected directors.
