Sunil
Sunil's journey through Telugu cinema is basically a masterclass in reinvention. For most of the 2000s, he was the guy everyone wanted in their comedies — his infectious laugh and razor-sharp timing made him an absolute scene-stealer. He racked up three Nandi Awards and two Filmfare Awards South along the way, proving he was way more than just comic relief. After transitioning to lead roles with Andala Ramudu in 2006, things got a bit rocky in the late 2010s when he struggled to find hits as a protagonist, but instead of fading away, he smartly pivoted his approach and came roaring back. What's really impressive about Sunil's recent comeback is how he's embraced versatility like a pro. Rather than chasing lead roles, he's been killing it with antagonistic and supporting roles that showcase genuine range, landing spots in some of the biggest commercial successes around. His work as the villain in Pushpa: The Rise and Pushpa 2: The Rule proved he could hold his own against major stars, while Colour Photo showed his dramatic depth. Beyond Telugu, he's also been expanding horizons with Tamil films like Maaveeran and Mark Antony, basically proving that sometimes the smartest career move is knowing when to switch lanes and owning whatever role you take on.
