Shivam Patil

Shivam Patil

Shivam Patil burst onto the Bollywood scene in 2013 with the film Nasha, and he's been making waves ever since. The guy's got serious range—from playing the lead in Sunny Deol's action-packed Ghayal: Once Again (2016) to taking on darker, more complex characters in Kaalakaandi and the Bollywood adaptation of the hit Telugu film Chatrapathi. Most recently, he showed up in SonyLIV's 2024 thriller "36 Days," proving he's evolved beyond just the big-screen hero archetype. Over his career, he's also become a familiar face in Indian advertising, appearing in over 50 TV commercials for major brands like Nescafé, Coca-Cola, and McDonald's. What sets Shivam apart isn't just his on-screen talent—it's his commitment to using his platform for real change. He's a vocal advocate for mental health, climate action, and gender empowerment, and he's put his money where his mouth is by actively participating in major social movements across India and Canada. During the 2020-2021 farmers' protests, he was on the ground documenting and amplifying stories, and he similarly engaged with the Citizenship Amendment Act protests and the Delhi riots, using his social media to share what was actually happening. Beyond acting, he's also shown his versatility in MTV's Nishedh series and continues to be one of Bollywood's more socially conscious voices.
