He burst onto the scene as a young performer and quickly became one of the most sought-after child actors of his era, delivering memorable performances in some of Hindi cinema's most celebrated classics. His most iconic roles came in Do Bigha Zamin (1953), Boot Polish (1954), and Jagriti (1954)—films that are still regarded as masterpieces of Indian cinema. These early performances showcased his natural talent and emotional depth, earning him a special place in Bollywood's golden age.
