Aditya Om

Born: 5 October 1980

Aditya Om is a versatile creative force who's been making waves across Telugu and Hindi cinema since the early 2000s. Starting his acting career with Lahiri Lahiri Lahirilo in 2002, he's built a solid reputation as both an actor and director. His work in the film Dahanam really put him on the radar, earning him multiple best actor awards at various film festivals. Beyond the screen, Om has also flexed his skills in theatre and television, proving he's comfortable working across pretty much any medium that tells a good story. What sets Aditya Om apart is his willingness to wear multiple creative hats—he's worked as an actor, director, producer, screenwriter, and even lyricist, making him one of Bollywood's more multidimensional talents. His directorial debut, Bandook (2013), showed his keen eye for storytelling from behind the camera. Recently, he's expanded his creative pursuits into literature, publishing the book Story of Bharata in 2024, which reimagines the classic Hindu epic Mahabharata. This move reflects his deep interest in Indian storytelling traditions and his desire to keep its narratives alive for modern audiences.
